FIRST ENGLISH LUTHERAN

First English Lutheran Church will have 9:15 a.m. Sunday school with a craft project. There will be a 10 a.m. Sunday worship service.

There will be a Shrove Tuesday pancake dinner from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.

Ash Wednesday will include “Ashes to Go” at 12:15 p.m. and an Ash Wednesday Holy Communion service with ashes at 7:30 p.m.

GRACE @ CALVARY LUTHERAN

Grace’s Closet, a free clothing bank, is open to the public at Grace @ Calvary Lutheran Church from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday. No proof of income is required. Each family may fill one large bag. Clothing donations can be dropped off between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, or any Saturday the closet is open.

A fourth Sunday gathering on topics of faith, religion and spirituality called “Inquiring Minds” will meet from 9 to 9:45 a.m. Sunday in the room across from Grace’s Closet. All are welcome to join in the discussion.

Worship with Holy Communion is at 10 a.m. Sunday.

GraceWay meets each Sunday morning for a 10 a.m. worship service at the Center Township Elementary School on Mercer Road.

HILL UNITED PRESBYTERIAN

The choir of Hill United Presbyterian Church will sing on Transfiguration Sunday. Fellowship hour will follow the service.

Donations of fruit and veggie trays, cookies and milk are still needed for Kids Club.

The Presbyterian community Ash Wednesday service will be at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday. Communion will be served.

There will be no Kids Club Tuesday.

MARS UNITED PRESBYTERIAN

Mars United Presbyterian Church has a session meeting at 7 p.m. Thursday in the board room. All session members are asked to attend.

Spring sessions of GriefShare are at 6:30 p.m. Mondays in the board room. Sessions will last until 8:30 p.m.

The Walk-In Communion will be at 5 p.m. Wednesday in the sanctuary. This service is very informal. Everyone is invited to partake of the Sacrament of Communion.
