McConnells Mill State Park in Slippery Rock Township, just over the county line into Lawrence County off Route 422, will be the site of an outdoor cooking demonstration of Pizza on the Grill from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday at the Kildoo Picnic Area. The historic gristmill is open from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tuesdays through Sundays, including Labor Day. Autumn hours after Labor Day will be 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Wednesdays through Sundays.
