Shook 50th anniversary
Michael and Dori Shook of Butler celebrated 50 years of marriage with a family dinner at Jimmy Wann's in Cranberry Township.
Shook married the former Dori Moore on May 31, 1969, at St. Mary Roman Catholic Church in Herman.
They have two children, Michael (Shannon) Shook Jr. of Butler and Shannen (Mark) Capriotti of Butler.
They also have five grandchildren.
He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1967 to 1971, worked as a buyer at Pullman Standard, a vice president for the Stauff Corp. and retired from a Zelienople company he owned and managed, Tube Mac Industries. He now works part time for Valley Lines.Mrs. Shook worked for Nationwide Insurance Co., Citizens National Bank and retired as an office manager at Tube Mac Industries. She now works part time for State Farm Insurance Co.The Shooks enjoy travel, golfing, kayaking and motorcycle touring.The Shooks are members of St. Fidelis Parish in Meridian.
