Esther and Russell Robertson

Esther and Russell Robertson of Zelienople celebrated their 70th anniversary at the Spring Street Café in Zelienople with family and friends.

Robertson married the former Esther Henshaw on Jan. 22, 1949.

They have three children: Carol Beigel of Greenbelt, Maryland; David (Amy) Robertson of Zelienople; and William Robertson of Kansas City, Missouri.

They also have four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.Robertson retired from the Federal Aviation Administration.Mrs. Robertson was active in community affairs in Akron, the Washington, D.C. area, and Zelienople, and continues to be active in her hobbies of fine art miniatures and “Hitty” (a wooden doll).The Robertsons have traveled extensively throughout the country and Europe.

The Robertsons in 1949
