COURTS HEARINGS

CRANBERRY TWP — District Judge David Kovach recently heard the following cases.

Joseph M. Barnes, 21, of New Wilmington, Pa., waived for court charges of accident involving damage to an attended vehicle or property and careless driving. Charges were filed Oct. 25 by Cranberry Township police.

Rochelle Thomas, 45, of Fombell, waived for court charges of DUI: general impairment of driving safely, DUI: highest rate of alcohol and driving at a unsafe speed. Charges were filed Oct. 23 by Cranberry Township police.

John Campbell, 55, of Greensburg, waived for court charges of simple assault, disorderly conduct, harassment and defiant trespassing. Charges were filed Nov. 27 by Cranberry Township police.

Thomas F. Friend, 27, of Baden, Pa., waived for court charges of conspiracy to commit theft by deception or false impression, theft by deception or false impression and two counts of receiving stolen property. Charges were filed Aug. 22 by Cranberry Township police.

Deonta Dux, 18, of Berkley, Mich., waived for court charges of receiving stolen property, driving while suspended or revoked and improperly displaying plate. Charges were filed Dec. 3 by Cranberry Township police.

Kari Galbreath, 43, of Cranberry Township, waived for court charges of criminal mischief damaging property and use or possession of drug paraphernalia. Charges were filed Oct. 1 by Cranberry Township police.

Eric L. Brown, 50, of Cranberry Township, waived for court charges of DUI: highest rate of alcohol, DUI: general impairment of driving safely and illegal parking within 30 feet of a traffic signal. A charge of restrictions on alcohol beverages was withdrawn. Charges were filed Oct. 25 by Cranberry Township police.

Cherish Winchester, 23, of Rochester, Pa., waived for court charges of conspiracy to commit retail theft and retail theft by taking merchandise. Charges were filed July 30 by Cranberry Township police.

Montgomery C. Winchester Jr., 44, of Rochester, Pa., waived for court charges of conspiracy to commit retail theft and retail theft by taking merchandise. Charges were filed July 30 by Cranberry Township police.

Paul W. Mosberger, 45, of Evans City, waived for court charges of criminal mischief damaging property, use or possession of drug paraphernalia, public drunkenness and disorderly conduct. A charge of simple assault was withdrawn. Charges were filed Oct. 1 by Cranberry Township police.

Jacob J. Schmader, 42, of Seven Fields, waived for court 50 counts of disseminating photos or film of child sex acts, 50 counts of child pornography and one count of criminal use of a communication facility. Charges were filed Nov. 1 by Pennsylvania state police.

Jesse R. Ward, 31, of Beaver, waived for court charges of retail theft and receiving stolen property. Charges were filed Nov. 21 by Cranberry Township police.

Michael A. Scott, 28, of Cranberry Township, waived for court charges of DUI: highest rate of alcohol and DUI: general impairment of driving safely. Charges were filed Oct. 4 by Cranberry Township police.

Kelsy N. Lees, 27, of Evans City, waived for court charges of accident involving damage to an attended vehicle or property, reckless driving and failure to stop and give information or render aid. Charges were filed Oct. 17 by Cranberry Township police.

Katherine S. Bracken, 53, of New Brighton, waived for court charges of theft of property lost by mistake and receiving stolen property. Charges were filed Sept. 5 by Cranberry Township police.

Anthony D. Smith, 26, of Canonsburg, waived for court charges of burglary with overnight accommodation, theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property. A charge of criminal trespassing by entering a structure was withdrawn. Charges were filed Oct. 9 by Cranberry Township police.

Conner P. Foley, 24, of Cranberry Township, waived for court charges of retail theft by taking merchandise, receiving stolen property and use or possession of drug paraphernalia. A charge of possession of marijuana was withdrawn. Charges were filed Nov. 19 by Cranberry Township police.

James Andrews, 31, of Cranberry Township, waived for court charges of access device issued to another who did not authorize use, receiving stolen property and theft by unlawful taking. Charges were filed Nov. 19 by Cranberry Township police.
