SLIPPERY ROCK — Slippery Rock University women’s soccer player Jordyn Minda has been named to the All-Atlantic region team.
A freshman, Minda tied for The Rock lead in points with 16. She had seven goals and two assists. Four of her goals were game-winners.

SRU’s Lutz named Coach of the Year
LOCK HAVEN — Slippery Rock University football coach Shawn Lutz has been named PSAC West Coach of the Year.
In his third season, Lutz guided The Rock to a 9-2 record, the PSAC West championship and a berth in the Division II playoffs. His overall record as head coach is 24-9.
Seven SRU players made first team All-PSAC West: quarterback Roland Rivers III, running back Wes Hills, tackle Steve Gaviglia, guard Colten Raabe, place-kicker Jake Chapla, defensive lineman Jeff Marx and linebacker Brad Zaffram.
Earning second-team honors are defensive backs Eric Glover-Williams and Kyle Hall, along with punter Chapla.
Seneca Valley graduate Corbin Kessler, a junior linebacker at Mercyhurst, also made second team.
