Makenzie McDowell tallied 28 digs and Emily Magusiak 24 digs to help the Butler County Community College volleyball team to a sweep of Community College of Beaver County on Wednesday.

Abby Kopac dropped 11 kills and Maddie Morella had nine in the 26-24, 25-17, 25-21 win.

Kenzie Craig had 27 assists for the Pioneers (13-5, 9-0).

BC3 will host its “Dig Pink” match against Penn Highlands C.C. at 6 p.m. Friday. Admission is $5. Refreshments, games and a basket raffle will be available.

All proceeds will be donated to the Side Out Foundation for breast cancer research.
