SLIPPERY ROCK — Hunter Loomis earned his first win of the season for the Slippery Rock University baseball team, tossing four scoreless innings and allowing one hit in a 6-1 non-conference victory over Tiffin on Tuesday at Critchfield Park.

Braden Olson had two hits and scored a run for SRU (20-11) and has now collected 12 hits in his last 21 at bats. Darryn Callahan had a double, single and scored two runs. Koby Bubash extended his hitting streak to 12 games by hitting a double.

Eddie Morris launched his second homer of the season for The Rock.

Tiffin fell to 17-21 with the loss. SRU hosts Gannon for a 1 p.m. doubleheader on Saturday.
