Harding and Judith Whitacre

Harding “Corky” and Judith Whitacre of Butler will celebrate 50 years of marriage with a family dinner Aug. 17 at the Allegheny Grille in Foxburg.

Whitacre married the former Judith Hinchberger on Aug. 17 1968, at Calvary United Presbyterian Church in Butler.

They have two children, Amy Horne of Butler and Laura Pellegrino of Butler.

They also have five grandchildren.

Whitacre was a music teacher and band director for 35 years in the Butler School District.Mrs. Whitacre is a retried registered nurse who was employed for 37 years at Butler Health System.The Whitacres attend Community Alliance Church.
