Alfred Maurhoff

Alfred Maurhoff of Cabot celebrated his 100th birthday May 18 with a family dinner at his home that included his six children and their spouses and six grandchildren.

He also celebrated with an ice cream and cake social for family and friends May 19 at St. Luke Lutheran Church, 330 Hannahstown Road, Cabot.

Maurhoff attributes his long and happy life to being blessed by Our Lord and Savior, good genes and healthy living, a loving and wonderful marriage to Lola and eating copious amounts of ice cream.
