[naviga:h3]BC3 hosts Tamburitzans[/naviga:h3]

Butler County Community College’s Performing Artists Series will feature the Tamburitzans at 8 p.m. Jan. 19 in the Succop Theater.

The longest running multicultural song and dance company in the United States will present “Passages” featuring the folk dances and live music of Eastern Europe.

Also at BC3, the Local Artists Mini-Series will host the Northwest Passage Trumpet Trio at 2 p.m. Feb. 25.

[naviga:h3]Recital series has change[/naviga:h3]

The Butler County Recital Series presentation of “French Masterworks” on Jan. 20 has had a change.

The concert at 7 p.m. will now feature pianist Billie Jo Miller in place of Nancy DeSalvo, who has had a family emergency.

The performance also features Tanya Satteson, concertmistress of the Butler County Symphony Orchestra.

The pair will present works for violin and piano by Ysaye, Saint-Saens and Franck.

The 7 p.m. performance will take place at St. Peter’s Reformed Church in Zelienople.
