Rockets improve to 14-2

Rossi, Becker shut down Rocky Grove

Derek Van Dyke singled and doubled and Dylan Dingel drove in a run with a single as the Slippery Rock High baseball team improved to 14-2 with a 3-1 win at Rocky Grove Friday afternoon.

Calvin Rossi picked up the win, working 5 2/3 strong innings.

Gunner Becker got the final four outs for the save, striking out two.

Knoch 13, Freeport 10 — Cassie Suran made 15 saves for the Yellowjackets in a losing cause in this Thursday game.

Cameron Lindsay scored six goals, Mayce Wonderling and Kaeley Lentz two each, Chrissy Conklin and Hannah Bowman one each.
