William James Rumbaugh, 59, formerly of Butler, died Monday in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., after a long illness.

He was the son of Roberta L. Marshall of Butler and the late William Rumbaugh.

Bill graduated from Butler Senior High School in 1975. He recently retired from the U.S. Postal Service.

Survivors also include his wife, Sallie Rumbaugh of Fort Lauderdale; three sisters, Susan Tassey, Beth Titler and Laura Augustine; one brother, David Marshall; and several nieces and nephews.
