Candace D. Bullman Maharg

Candace D. Bullman Maharg, 62, of Butler passed away Dec. 17 at her home.

She was born April 9, 1954, in Butler, to the late Crawford Bullman and Eleanor McMillin Bullman.

Candace was a 1972 graduate of Karns City High School. She then received her bachelor of science degree in nursing and also a master's degree from Carlow College.

Candace worked at Lenape Vo-Tech for 11 years as an assistant coordinator and an instructor. She enjoyed hunting, fishing and loved her gardens and yard work, especially her flowers. She was Catholic.

She is survived by her husband, Eric B. Maharg, who she married June 5, 1993; one son, Nathaniel Smith of Butler; two stepsons, Michael Maharg and his wife, Jennifer, and Justin Maharg and his fiancee, Autumn, both of Butler; one stepdaughter, Mandy Long and her husband, David, of Butler; eight grandchildren; two brothers, David Bullman of Slippery Rock and Don Bullman of Butler; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepgranddaughter, Kylie Maharg.

MAHARG — Friends of Candace D. Bullman Maharg, who died Saturday, Dec. 17, 2016, will be received from 4 to 5 p.m. Wednesday at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St., Butler.A memorial service will follow at 5 p.m. with the Rev. Anthony Sciarappa of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church officiating.
