Ronald Dean Metz

Ronald Dean Metz, 75, of Perry Highway, Scott Township, Lawrence County, passed away at 6:40 a.m. Dec. 11 at UPMC Shadyside Hospital. Ron married the former Linda Ann Guthrie on June 19, 1987, and she survives at home.

Ron served his country in the U.S. Army and was a proud member of the New Covenant Evangelical Presbyterian Church of New Castle.

METZ — Visitation for Ronald Dean Metz, who died Sunday, Dec. 11, 2016, will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Smith Funeral Home, 310 W. Neshannock Ave., New Wilmington.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the New Convenant Evangelical Presbyterian Church, 1911 Harlansburg Road, New Castle. The Rev. Chris Curtis will officiate and interment will follow at St. Anthony Cemetery in Harrisville with full military honors.
