Flinner 40th anniversary

DuWayne and Joyce Flinner

DuWayne and Joyce Flinner of Prospect celebrated 40 years of marriage with a family dinner at Nonni’s Corner Trattoria in Grove City. They also celebrated with a trip to Spain, Portugal and France visiting the Marian shrines of Europe.

Flinner married the former Joyce Ferrere on Dec. 4, 1976, at St. Anthony Roman Catholic Church in Forestville.

They have one child, Kristen (Chris) Kindya of McDonald.

Flinner served in the U.S. Army for two years during the Vietnam War. He works for the U.S. Postal Service and plans to retire at the end of this year.

He is a member of Air Heritage at the Beaver County Airport and also is a member of the American Legion of Prospect.

He is a member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Harmony, where he is an organist.

Mrs. Flinner is a homemaker. She enjoys attending retreats and going to Magnificat of Pittsburgh breakfasts.

She is a member of St. Anthony Roman Catholic Church.

The couple enjoys traveling and attending musicals and concerts.
