Audience decides the end for Wuerl's 'Edwin Drood'

From left, seniors Anna Rutkowski, Michaela Morreale, Francesca Esposito and Danielle Milich rehearse a scene from “The Mystery of Edwin Drood” at Cardinal Wuerl North Catholic High School. The show will go on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

CRANBERRY TWP — Cardinal Wuerl North Catholic High School will present the interactive musical, “The Mystery of Edwin Drood,” at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday and at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in the school’s Cahout Auditorium, 1617 Route 228.

Tickets are available online from TicketLeap.com for $8 or for $10 at the door.

“The Mystery of Edwin Drood” is a musical interactive “whodunit” that allows the audience to decide its outcome. The show is based on Charles Dickens’ unfinished novel, and gives the spectators a chance to finish the story as they see fit.

Throughout the show the audience is encouraged to participate in welcoming (and booing) the various colorful characters as they work their way through a love story, the disappearance of the main character and the day-to-day happenings of late 19th century England.
