Jeffery G. Minehart

Jeffery G. Minehart, 58, of Butler passed away Monday at Butler Memorial Hospital of heart failure.

He was born May 13, 1958, in Butler, to Fred Minehart and Lorraine “Tootie” Massart Minehart.

Jeffery was a 1976 graduate of Butler High School. He worked for James Austin for 17 years doing maintenance. Jeff was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his wife of 10 years, Mary Edwards Minehart, whom he married Oct. 8, 2006; two sons, Brian Minehart and his wife, Melissa, of Butler and Jason Minehart and his wife, Tamra, of Florida; three stepsons, Jesse Cunningham of Butler, Tyler Cunningham of Butler and Eddie Davis of Butler; one granddaughter, Angel Minehart; two grandsons, Austin Minehart and Ian Minehart; one brother, David Minehart and his wife, Annie, of Butler; aunt, Shirley Adams and her husband, Dave, of Elkhart, Ind.; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

MINEHART — Friends of Jeffery G. Minehart, who died Monday, Oct. 31, 2016, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St., Butler.A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 128 N. McKean St., Butler, with the Rev. Harry R.
