Annual show opens Friday at Underground Gallery
The Underground Gallery at The Butler Art Center will begin showing its 11th Art of Horror Show on Friday.
The Art of Horror showcases the darker side of artistic expression.
Area bands will perform on opening night, and there will be a costume gala.
The show will open at 6 p.m. with the bands starting 7 p.m. Admission will be $5 for this all-ages show.
Performances will be given by Miranda Williams, The Long Knives, Over My Dead Body, and Rosedale.
Artwork will be by Jeff Vargo, Gabrielle Vargo, Shane Parsell, Jessi Price, Gregg Steighner, Michelle Steiner, Ron Steiner and James Rue.
The exhibit will continue through Nov. 18.
The Butler Art Center at 344 S. Main St. is regularly open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays and noon to 4 p.m. Saturdays.
