William “Bill” F. Walter

William “Bill” F. Walter, 80, of Grove City passed away at 1:05 a.m. Saturday at Grove Manor Nursing Home in Grove City.

Born Dec. 29, 1935, Grove City, he was the son of George John Walter and Bernice Margaret Kane Walter.

Bill retired from Warehouse Electrical Supply in Butler after 37 years.

He was a member of Church of the Beloved Disciple in Grove City.

He was a graduate of Grove City High School, Class of 1955. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1956 to 1961.

Bill is survived by his sister, Elizabeth A. “Ann” Christenberry and her husband, Thomas, of Wilson, N.C.; six nieces; and two nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Jack Walter Bill.

WALTER — Friends of William “Bill” F. Walter, who died Saturday, Sept. 24, 2016, will be received from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. Thursday in the Day Chapel of the church. Military honors will follow the Mass at the church.A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Church of the Beloved Disciple with the Rev. Michael Allison as celebrant.Burial will take place at Crestview Memorial Park in Grove City.Memorials in his memory may be made to Church of the Beloved Disciple, 1310 S. Center St. Ext., Grove City, PA 16127.
