Darlene S. Holton

Darlene S. Holton, 70, of Eau Claire passed away Sunday afternoon at Butler Memorial Hospital following a brief illness.

Born April 9, 1946, in Nickleville, Pa., she was the daughter of the late James and Helen Orr Whitling.

She was United Methodist and was a deeply devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Darlene was once employed by the Grove Manor Nursing Home in Grove City and was later employed by the former Grove City Medical Center.

She is survived by her daughter, Tracie (Donald) Keene of Parker; her son, James W. (Susan) Holton of Emlenton; her grandchildren, Brandon, Donnie and Justine Keene, and Jimmie, Amber and Dustin Holton; her great-grandchildren, Austin and Donnie Keene; her sister, Sharon (Dave) London of Harrisville; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Earl Holton, who she married March 13, 1965, and who died April 13, 1999; and two sisters.

HOLTON — Friends of Darlene S. Holton, who died Sunday, Sept. 25, 2016, may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the H. Jack Buzard Funeral Home, 201 S. Washington St., Eau Claire.Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
