Ralph D'Antonio Jr.

Ralph L. D'Antonio Jr., 43, of Butler passed away Saturday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

He was born Dec. 15, 1972, in Butler.

A graduate of Slippery Rock University with a bachelor's degree in art, Ralph was employed for the past 10 years as an art teacher in the Karns City School District.

He was a member of Saint Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church and the Associated Artists of Butler County.

He is survived by his wife, Kara L. Travers D'Antonio; one son, Rocco D'Antonio at home; his parents, Ralph and Kathy D'Antonio of Butler; one brother, Michael D'Antonio of Butler; three sisters, Eve D'Antonio of Sarasota, Fla., Jennifer Ames of Los Angeles, and Victoria Ridder and her husband, Alexander, of Denver; two uncles, James D'Antonio and his wife, Judy, of Butler and Michael D'Antonio and his wife, Mary Lou, of Raleigh, N.C.; one aunt, Karen D'Antonio Starnes; one great-uncle and great-aunt, Victor and Georgia Cherry of Butler; and numerous cousins.

He also is survived by his in-laws, Robert and Kathryn Travers of Columbia, Md.; and one brother-in-law, Philip Travers of Columbia, Md.

D'ANTONIO — Friends of Ralph L. D'Antonio Jr., who died Saturday, July 23, 2016, will be received from 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Martin Funeral Home, 429 Center Ave., Butler.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church, 432 Center Ave., Butler.Burial will take place at St. Michael's Cemetery.For more information, please visit www.martinfh.net.
