Prospect parish holds festivalPROSPECT — St. Christopher Roman Catholic Church, 229 N. Franklin St., will have a parish festival from 4 to 10 p.m. July 15 and from 5 to 10 p.m. July 16.There also will be an outdoor Mass at 4 p.m. July 16 with celebrant the Rev. Fundraiser set for Tim McGintySLIPPERY ROCK — The friends and family of Tim McGinty will host a pancake and sausage fundraiser for his family from 8 to 11 a.m. July 16 at the Slippery Rock Township Building, 155 Branchton Road.McGinty, 42, suffered a massive heart attack and traumatic brain injury.The breakfast event will include an auction featuring Penguins and Pirates tickets and gift certificates for the children’s museum, Kennywood, Living Treasures, golf courses and restaurants.
