Shirley and William Fillgrove

William and Shirley Fillgrove of Butler will celebrate 50 years of marriage with a trip to Glacier National Park.

Fillgrove married the former Shirley Stepp on July 1, 1966, at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Butler.

They have two children, Deb Urban of Roaring Branch and Meghan (Bryan) Schnur of Brunswick, Md. They also have five grandchildren.

Fillgrove retired from AK Steel after 36 years. He enjoys golf and hunting.

She retired as an elementary teacher from the Butler School District after 36 years. She enjoys tennis and pickleball.

The Fillgroves are members of the First English Lutheran Church.

They are volunteers for community dinners and Meals on Wheels. They also enjoy traveling and family.
