Allen L. Queen

Allen L. Queen, 65, of Boyers passed away Thursday at the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System 64.

He was born Aug. 22, 1950, in Natrona Heights, the son of the late Christ Queen and Hannah (Spiker) Queen Stiver of Slippery Rock.

Allen loved hunting and fishing.

He was a United States Air Force and Vietnam War veteran. He had worked at Magnetics.

Surviving are his mother; his companion, Carol Scheller of Boyers; three sons, Jason (Jody) Queen of Slippery Rock, and twins, Christopher (Heather) Queen of West Sunbury and Grant Queen of Butler; four stepchildren, Michael Scheller of Pittsburgh, Daniel Scheller of Chicora, Amanda Scheller of Rimersburg and Ron (Serena) Johnston of Butler; six grandchildren, Joshua, Morgan, Jacob, Angel, Jessica and Mark; three-step-grandchildren, Dillon, Mason and Cadence; five great-grandchildren, Nathan, Emily, Bradyn, Hannah and Laine; four sisters, Donna (Kenneth) Sarvey of Butler, Sharon (Tim) Reedy of West Sunbury, Dorothy (Andrew) Homison of West Sunbury and Mary Jane Stiver of Butler; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father and a brother.

QUEEN — A memorial service for Allen L. Queen, who died Thursday, June 23, 2016, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Young Funeral Home, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler, with the Rev. Curtis McDaniel officiating. Interment will be private.
