Carol Ann Stutz Nazaruk

Carol Ann Stutz Nazaruk, 60, of Butler passed away Tuesday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born Dec. 18, 1955, in Butler, she was a daughter of Eleanor Jeanne (Ross) Stutz and the late Raymond Stutz.

She had worked for Butler County as a court administrator. She retired in December of 2015 following many years service.

She was a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler. She was a devout Catholic and a devoted grandmother “Nanny.” She enjoyed biking with her family and friends, and she was very involved in genealogy.

Surviving are her husband, George K. Nazaruk, who she married Feb. 27, 1976; her daughter, Kristyn (Amanda) Canfield of Richmond, Va.; her son, David Nazaruk and his fiance', Trisha Riggans of Pittsburgh; two grandchildren, Bransyn and Landyn Canfield; her mother, Eleanor Jeanne Ross (Stutz) McKivigan of Butler; her sister, Sandra (Christopher) Blum of Butler; two brothers, Michael (Ann) Stutz of Charleston, S.C., and Daniel Stutz of Ormond Beach, Fla.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Raymond “Sonny” Stutz.

NAZARUK — Private funeral arrangements for Carol Ann Nazaruk, who died Tuesday, May 24, 2016, will be handled by the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler.Memorial donations may be made in her honor to St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 128 N.
