Harry E. File

Harry E. File, 74, of Butler passed from this world at 9:06 a.m. Thursday.

He was born on June 19, 1941, to the late Harry C. File and Catherine A. Lafevere.

In his working days, he was a painter and a roofer. He loved and was beloved by all his family regardless of distance and time.

Harry is survived by his fiancee of 44 years, Judith Wagner; his daughter, Jackie (Cory) McCullough of Yukon, Pa.; son, Sgt. 1st Class James Wagner of Butler; three sisters, Gloria J. File, Barbara Martin and Cindi Williams Shepherd; 14 grandchildren, Lauren Durvall, Chloe File, Zachary File, John File, Meredith File, Christian Wagner, Noelle Hookins, Nichole Welling, Michael Welling, Samantha Hess, Trevor Wagner, Taylor Wagner, Makenzy Wagner and Paige Kerns; and four great-grandchildren; Damen Ford, Vivienne Ford, Daenrys Hess and Paisley Welling.

In addition to his parents, Harry was preceded in death by one daughter, Karen File; two sons, Harry File and Harry E. Wagner; two sisters, and one brother.

FILE — Friends of Harry E. File, who died Thursday, March 31, 2016, will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Buzard Funeral Home, 201 S. Washington St., Eau Claire.
