Freeport jumped out to a 25-11 lead after the first quarter and hung on for a 68-65 home win over Armstrong in high school boys basketball action Wednesday night.
The Yellowjackets were 31-of-42 shooting from the free throw line in the win.
Kris Keppel scored 26 points, including a 14-of-17 night from the foul line, and Josh Beale added 22 points and went 13-of-18 from the line in the win.
