Anna Kathryn Gallagher, 85, of Butler died Thursday afternoon peacefully with the love of her life, her husband of almost 65 years Bill Gallagher, at her side at Newhaven Court, Butler.

They were married Dec. 27, 1950.

She was born June 30, 1930 in Beaver Falls, a daughter of the late David Bruner and Bernadine (Wittmer) Bruner.

Anna was a member of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church in Butler.

In addition to her husband Bill, Anna is cherished and survived by eight children, Denny (Roberta) Gallagher of Butler, Debbie (Ron) Cypher of Butler, Jim (Brenda) Gallagher of Butler, Tom (Gretchen) Gallagher of Saxonburg, Jeff (Debbie) Gallagher of Saxonburg, Mary Gallagher of McCandless, Dan (Cindy) Gallagher of Boardman, Ohio, and Amy Scheidt of Saxonburg; 17 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Fred; a sister, Bernadine; and a son-in-law, Kent Scheidt, the husband of her daughter Amy Scheidt.

GALLAGHER — Friends of Anna Kathryn Gallagher, who died on Thursday, Oct. 29, 2015, will be received from 1 until 5 p.m. Sunday at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, 127 Franklin St., Butler. Entombment will follow in the Mausoleum of Calvary Cemetery, Butler.The Women's Council of St. Peter will meet at 10:35 a.m. Monday at the church to recite the rosary.
