BUTLER CHURCH OF THE NAZARENE

Butler Church of the Nazarene, 4410 Oakdale Road and Route 68, will have special music Sunday sung by Gordon Thompson.

CHRIST COMMUNITY UNITED METHODIST

The 50th Anniversary Celebration Committee of Christ Community United Methodist Church, 205 N. Duffy Road, will meet at 7 p.m. today.

Set up for Fun in the Sun will begin at 10 a.m. Friday in the Masonic Shelter at Alameda Park.

Holy Communion will be observed at both Sunday services.

Set up for the rummage sale will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.

Christ’s Outreach Church, 120 Walker Ave., will celebrate Communion at the Sunday service.

The adult Sunday school class that meets Sunday morning and the Tuesday night Bible study will not meet again until September.

EAST BUTLER PRESBYTERIAN

East Butler Presbyterian Church, 9th and Randolph streets, East Butler, will welcome the musical group In Transition at a special joint worship service with North Butler Presbyterian Church at 10:30 a.m. Sunday. This will be a change from the regular 9:30 a.m. service.

A bluegrass/gospel jam will be at 7 p.m. Sunday. Community members may bring instruments.

FIRST BAPTIST

First Baptist Church, 221 W. New Castle St., will have an 8:30 a.m. breakfast Sunday followed by a 9 a.m. prayer service, Sunday school and morning worship.

FIRST BAPTIST OF EVANS CITY
