Goal

Gladys Irene Goal, 91, of Butler, passed away Monday at Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Butler.

She was born June 10, 1923, in Parkers Landing, the daughter of the late Arthur Curran McGregor and Emma Myrtle Peters.

Gladys was a member of the Eastern Star and volunteered at Butler Memorial Hospital. She had belonged to First Methodist Church. She had a beauty shop in her own home for many years. She enjoyed gardening, knitting, crocheting and crafting.

Surviving are her son, Stephen C. (Ann) McGregor of Butler; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers.

GOAL — Friends of Gladys Irene Goal, who died Monday, April 27, 2015, will be received at Young Funeral Home, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler, at 2 p.m. Monday until the time of the service at 4 p.m.Private Interment will be in Greenlawn Burial Estates.
