Pearl M. Marshall Love
Pearl M. Marshall Love, 82, of Middlesex Township passed away Wednesday.
Born on Feb. 22, 1932, in Cooperstown, Butler County, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Glee Truver Marshall.
She was the beloved wife of the late Leroy L. Love; loving mother of James (Nancy) Love, Joseph (Brenda) Love, Jane (Bruce) Hoover, Carol (Earl) Duncan, Dale (Kristy) Love and the late Robert Love; sister of Roy “Cappy” (Coreen) Marshall, Glee Lang, Birdie Kroll and the late Sam, Bill, Jim, Chuck, Joe, Bob, and Hoover Marshall and the late Mary Jane Philipow; dear grandmother of Leeanna, Jamie, Michael, Daniella, Heidi, Joshua, Jason, Justin, Kelli, Shannon, Nathan, Victoria, Alexandra and Bradley; and special Gram to Joel Comley. She also is survived by her 10 beloved great-grandchildren.
Pearl was a devoted and lifetime member of the Glade Run United Presbyterian Church in Cooperstown, where she was active in many ways throughout the years.
She worked with her husband, Leroy, on their family's dairy farm where together they raised six wonderful children. Her warm and inviting home was known in the community as a welcoming place where people would be together and the door always open to family, neighbors and friends. Pearl was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all.
Love— The family of Pearl M. Marshall Love, who passed away Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2015, will welcome friends from 1 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Schellhaas Funeral Home, 5864 Heckert Road, Bakerstown.Services will be Saturday at a time to be announced in the Glade Run United Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Greg Wiest officiating.
