Katherine Isherwood

Katherine Marie Isherwood, 84, of Butler passed away at 8:12 p.m. Friday at the Alle-Kiski Medical Center in Natrona Heights.

She was born on April 23, 1930, in Wilkinsburg, the daughter of the late Raymond Irwin and Jennie Frazier Irwin.

Katherine was a member of New Life Christian Ministries in Saxonburg.

She loved spending time with her family and her cats. She also enjoyed cooking.

Surviving are her two daughters, Kathleen (James) Robinson of Valencia and Sandra (Ernest) Kokadas of Ashland City, Tenn.; her son, Raymond (JoAnn) Isherwood of Valencia; her six grandchildren, Paul (Holly) Walter Jr., Cherie (Mark) Graves, Bill (Lori) Neubert, and Brian, David and Shelley Isherwood; and her four great-grandchildren, Alex and Adam Walter, Alec Szostecki and Brayden Isherwood.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ervine W. Isherwood, who died on March 11, 2010, and her sister, Margaret Maxwell.

Isherwood — The friends of Katherine Marie Isherwood, who passed away Friday, Jan. 23, 2015, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at theYoung Funeral Home, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler.Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Pastor Chris Marshall officiating.
