Stella Ree Ipock Morris, 87, of Slippery Rock Township, Butler County, passed away at 8:53 p.m. Wednesday at Allegheny General Hospital.

She was born on Feb. 7, 1927, in Cove City, Craven County, N.C., to the late George and Lonie Heath Ipock.

She married William Lewis Morris on Oct. 14, 1945.

She was a homemaker and a Protestant.

Stella was a member of the Slippery Rock American Legion Post 393 Ladies Auxiliary, and she enjoyed bowling and playing bingo.

She is survived by her husband, William at home; her two sons, William L. Morris Jr. and his wife, Linda, of Schwenksville, and Randal E. Morris and his wife, Lorraine, of Pittsboro, N.C.; her two daughters, Garnett G. Stock and her husband, Robert, of Hanceville, Ala., and Marian L. Landis and her husband, Richard, of Telford; her nine grandchildren; and her five great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her four brothers and her two sisters.

Morris — The family of Stella Ree Ipock Morris, who passed away Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2014, will receive friends from 4 to 9 p.m. today and from 12:30 p.m. until time of services at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the Smith Funeral Home, 421 New Castle St., Slippery Rock, with the Rev. Willard Morse, retired pastor, presiding. Interment will follow in Prairie Cemetery, Harrisville.
