A teen's good deed
Not enough is said about the good done by the younger generation.
A few weeks ago, I was shopping at Sam’s Club at Moraine Pointe Plaza in Butler. As we were leaving, I set my purse down on the café table to get something out of it. I did not realize until I got home that my bank envelope containing $170 had fallen out onto the table. After searching my purse and the car to no avail, I called Sam’s to see if I had lost it there and if someone had turned it in. To my great relief, a teenage girl had found it and turned it in.
She did not leave her name. With this letter I want to thank her for doing the right thing.
There are great teenagers out there — and I am glad that one of them returned my money.
