Hospice merits praise
A door of the VNA In-Patient Hospice swung open and we took our loved one — my husband — into a room of angels who were waiting to take care of him.
For 14 months I was his caregiver, but now I know that at the VNA Hospice we have one of the best nursing staffs available.
They give caring love to all their patients and their patients’ families. I was so thankful to have had such a group take care of my husband.
The last week of his life — he died April 3 — I was able to sit and hold his hand until the end and just be his wife.
