Check electric bill
People really need to check their electric bills for the actual rates being charged.
After First Energy Solutions bombarded me with price offers last year, I changed my electricity supplier to First Energy from WestPenn Power. Since then, my bill has become excessively high.
I called WestPenn Power to inquire about the pricing. Meanwhile, my electric bill says that for me to save money, the supplier’s price must be lower, which First Energy’s current price to me isn’t.
Now I regret having switched.
According to First Energy, there will be a fee of $150 to switch back to WestPenn Power as supplier. But there was no fee to switch to First Energy.
All considered, I feel I have been taken advantage of.
Perhaps, by me writing this letter, others will be careful before making any changes.
