I had the opportunity to talk with three people who had contact with Ben Roethlisberger, and all three had the same opinion — he is a jerk. I saw him at Wheeling Island Casino and that was my conclusion also. He was rude and ignorant. No wonder he has only one or two teammates for friends. The rest can't stand him. He has the nerve to say he doesn't like Pittsburgh and thinks the people are stupid. For $100 million, I think I could learn to love them. As for bars complaining about him not paying his tab, they should charge him with theft of services. Giving police dogs to all of those cities, as he does, I'm sure when income tax time comes, it is a nice charitable deduction. Finally, how does a Coraopolis police officer and a state trooper get time off to be his bodyguards out of state? Even if he is found not guilty, which he probably will be, he should replace the PFG (Playing for God) on his shoes with a neon sign blinking JERK. P.S. He's not that good.
