New programs:

Home repairs program for secondary students that will teach them how to care for their homes. Plumbing, electricity and other household projects will be included; Homework Hotline/Homework Chalkboard will allow parents to get homework assignments over the phone or online, beginning in early September.

Building projects:

Completion of the Dassa McKinney Elementary School, where all students in grades K-6 will now attend.

New policies:

None new, but parents are encouraged to review the policies for attendance, driving to school and the age requirement for kindergarten.
