Scholarship essay applications now open to students
CRANBERRY TWP - The Cranberry Chamber of Commerce is accepting applications from students for its 2005 Student Essay Contest.
Seniors at Seneca Valley, Mars and North Allegheny high schools are eligible to participate.
Three $1,000 scholarships will be awarded to the top entries.
This year's topic is: "If you were given the money to start your own business, what business would you choose and why?"
Scholarship applications may be picked up at school guidance offices, the chamber office and the Cranberry Library. Essays must be received no later than 4 p.m. March 18.
