The Evans City Seven Fields Regional Police Department has arrested a Butler man for drug possession after he was pulled over earlier this month.

Robert Adams III, 27, is charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia after police found eight stamp bags filled with heroin in his car along with a syringe and two empty stamp bags.

Arresting officer Brian Mazzanti first stopped Adams for driving under suspension on Sept. 20 in Evans City.

Adams then gave Mazzanti permission to search his vehicle.

During the search, Mazzanti found the eight stamp bags with heroin inside, two empty stamp bags and a syringe.
