Raymond Albert Jr.
Raymond L. Albert Jr., 74, of Harmony, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2021, in the comfort of his home, surrounded by his family.
Born Dec. 13, 1946, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Raymond L. Albert Sr. and Lois Rubright Albert.
Ray was part of the first class to graduate in 1965 from Seneca Valley High School.He proudly served our country in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War and upon his safe return home, was an avid supporter of local veterans organizations.Ray passionately worked as a school bus driver for nearly 50 years, praying every day for the kids on his bus. Christian by faith, he worshipped for 19 years at the Harmony-Zelienople United Methodist Church.In his down time, Ray enjoyed going out on the water, and restoring old boats with his wife, Christin.Ray will be remembered most for his generous and giving heart. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend, who will be dearly missed and fondly remembered.He leaves many loved-ones behind to cherish his memory: his wife of 46 years, Christin J. Albert; his children, Carolyn Franjko, Gina Keskula and Harvey Albert; his grandchildren, Morgan, Jonathan, Alyssa, Aidan, Alec, Sierra and Ailey; his great-grandchildren, Charlie and Landen; numerous brothers and sisters; several nieces and nephews; and many treasured close friends.ALBERT — A celebration of life service for Raymond L. Albert Jr., who died Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2021, will be held at a later date.Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Boylan Funeral Home, 324 E.
