BUTLER TWP — Tyler Copeland scored 25 points and grabbed 22 rebounds, but Butler County Community College dropped a 79-66 men’s basketball decision to Westmoreland CC Saturday.

The Pioneers (2-17) were even at 41 at the half, but fell behind midway through the second half. Cody West scored 24 points for BC3.

The Pioneer women’s team sank just eight of 55 field goal attempts in losing 52-34 to Westmoreland.

Kyleigh Custer had six points and 10 rebounds for BC3 (2-15) while Shelby Johnston scored six points. Jen Barry had 11 rebounds in a losing cause.
