William R. Fisher
William R. Fisher Jr., 67, of Hilliards, passed away Saturday morning, Jan. 2, 2021, at Butler Memorial Hospital following a period of declining health.
Born in Toledo, Ohio, on Sept. 20, 1953, he was the son of the late William R. Sr. and Orpha May Evans Fisher.
He was employed in residential construction most of his adult life.
Protestant by faith, he was a member of the Valley Dam Sportsmen and Snowmobile Association and the Boyers Sportsmen’s Association.
Surviving are his wife, Shelba Hurt Fisher, whom he married Feb. 1, 1978; three children and spouses, Jessica (Steve) Nevel of Boyers, Crystal (Larry, Jr.) Stewart of Grove City, and Corey (Kim) Mingione of Harrisville; eight grandchildren, Khloe and Krista Stewart of Grove City, Kaitlyn and Steven Jr. Nevel of Boyers, Eryn and Megan Mingione of Harrisville, Madisyn Fisher of Grove City and Makayla Claypoole of Grove City; two great-grandchildren, Mila Nevel of Boyers and Colt Allen Jr. of Grove City. Also surviving are two siblings, Cliff (Donna) Duncan Jr. of Fenelton and Deborah (John) Smith of Toledo, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents and stepfather, Clifford Duncan Sr., he was preceded in death by a son, William R. Fisher III on May 16, 2009. He was also preceded by a grandson, Kamryn Raymond Lee Stewart; a brother, Mike Fisher; and a nephew, David Valerio.
Fisher Jr. — A private visitation and funeral service for William R. Fisher Jr., who died Saturday, Jan. 2, 2021, was held Sunday evening at H. Jack Buzard Funeral Home in Eau Claire.
He shall be laid to rest with his son at Rosewood Cemetery in Ridgeville at convenience of family.
