BUTLER TWP — Ashley Brehm scored 26 points, but the Butler County Community College women’s basketball team suffered a 72-67 loss to CCAC South in double overtime Wednesday night.

Brehm sank a 3-pointer at the end of regulation to force overtime. Jen Barry, who scored 17 points, converted a three-point play at the end of the first overtime session to extend the game.

Kyleigh Custer had 13 points and nine rebounds, Shelby Johnston nine boards for the Pioneers (3-17, 2-6).

Cody West compiled 20 points, nine rebounds and seven assists, but the BC3 men dropped a 78-63 decision. Tyler Copeland had 18 points and eight rebounds, Hunter French 17 points, Shae Stobert six assists.
