Peter M. Watt
Peter M. Watt, 77, of Saxonburg passed away on Friday, Oct. 8, 2021, at Allegheny General Hospital.
Born Nov. 4, 1943, in Sarver, he was the son of the late James Watt and Margaret Clarke Tucker Watt.
He worked as a mechanic for U.S. Steel. He also owned and operated his own garage.
Pete was a life member of the Saxonburg Fire Company, the Sister City Project, the Historic Architectural Review Committee and the Main Street Committee Project.
Surviving are his sister-in-law, Nancy Watt of Everton, Ark.; his nieces and nephews, James Watt of Everton, Ark., Rodney Watt of Everton, Ark., Peggy Smith of Everton, Ark., and John David Watt of Sarver; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Shannon Dewitt, John David Watt III, Lesley Horton, Bethany Klimkiewicz, Briley Austin, Aubrey McDaniel and Tyler Watt; and many extended family members.
In addition his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, James Watt and John David Watt; a sister, Margaret Martin; and his significant other, Carol Young.
WATT — Friends of Peter M. Watt, who died Friday, Oct. 8, 2021, will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at Fox Funeral Home, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.
A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Saxonburg Borough Sister City Project, 420 W. Main Street, Saxonburg, PA 16056.
