The Butler Community College men’s basketball team couldn’t keep up with Jamestown’s (N.Y.) size in a 99-78 loss Wednesday night.

Alex Alverez led the Pioneers (3-6) with 26 points and nine rebounds.

Austin Miller (24 points), Dom Pusateri (10) and Chris Kier (10) also scored in double figures.

Women’s basketballMiranda Williams scored 14 points, but the BC3 women struggled in a 91-32 loss to Jamestown.Ashley Brehm also scored eight points for the Pioneers (0-9).
