The family of Betty Fend
CARD OF THANKS
The family of Betty Fend would like to thank all who have touched our lives this past year. The staff at the YWCA, everyone always watched over Betty as she adjusted to her new home. We know at times it was difficult for Betty to make the transition and everyone was always so attentive and caring in trying to make her feel at home.
To all the Nurses and Nurses Aides at Sunnyview on Floor #1. Thank you for all you did in making her stay as comfortable as possible and for the compassion you showed the family.
To the VNA Hospice nurses. Thank you for your kindness and guidance through this difficult journey. We could not have done it without your support. You were there when we needed you the most. It takes a special person to do the jobs that you do so well.
Thanks to Rev. Clark Sawyer from the Hill United Presbyterian Church for your spiritual guidance this past year. Thanks also to the Deacons of the Hill United Church for a wonderful luncheon. Thanks to everyone who sent flowers, cards and food and to those who helped in any way to lessen our sorrow.
Thanks to Dr. Chanappatti, we know Betty was very strong willed and determined at times. Thank you for the excellent care you gave her.
To Thompson Miller Funeral Home, especially to Bruce, you made the dark days seem a little brighter.
In addition, we would like to thank everyone who came and visited with Betty during her stay at the Y and Sunnyview, she truly enjoyed the company and conversation she had with everyone. We will never forget those who helped our family through this past year by lending your ear or giving us a shoulder to cry on.
