Butler County's great daily newspaper

Earl F. "Brownie" Zang Jr.

Perhaps you sent a lovely card,

Or sat quietly in a chair.

Perhaps you sent a floral piece,

If so we saw it there.

Perhaps you spoke the kindest words,

As any friend could say;

Perhaps you were not there at all,

Just thought of us that day.

Whatever you did to console our hearts,

We thank you so much

Whatever the part.

Thank you from the Family of Earl F. Zang Jr., known to most as "Brownie", who passed away April 4, 2009.

Also thanks to family, friends and neighbors, those who called, sent food, flowers, money, mass cards and prayers.

A very special thank you to VNA Hospice for helping us get through this very difficult time in our lives and for giving us endless encouragement and support that gave him his dignity. For Rene and Bridget, you will always be thought of fondly.

Gary Collar, thank you for the wonderful and inspirational message during the Service. There are no words to describe how much comfort the kind words (and few laughs) spoken will always be treasured. May God bless you always.

Thank you to Young's Funeral Home and the entire staff for going above and beyond.

We would like to thank every single person who came to Young's to pay their respects. Brownie's brother Paul states "that money does not determine your wealth." "It's all about how many people come to pay their respects when your life ends." Our family was wealthy and we never knew it. That is how all of you made us feel — very wealthy. Thank you so much, it is very overwhelming.

To Rick, David, Margie and Terry, who gave so much — ALWAYS. EVERY DAY. For believing in family and for the endless love and support you give. Thank You.
