Dennis R. Kerr, 73, of Butler, passed away Monday, Dec. 6, 2021, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Oakland.

Born March 10, 1948, in Butler, he was the son of the late Robert J. and Kathryn M. (George) Kerr.

Dennis was a 1965 graduate of Butler High School and a retiree of the former Armco Steel in Butler.

He was an avid sports enthusiast, and enjoyed playing golf and tennis. His sports trivia knowledge was unequaled.

Dennis was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Butler.

Surviving are his sister, Linda A. and George A. (Bud) Patten; a brother, Bruce J. and Charlene Kerr of Butler; his nieces, Kimberly and Kate; and his nephews, Ryan and Justin.

Dennis is also survived by family and close friends, whose companionship, care and compassion meant so much to him, Jack and Judy Barkley, Ken Gilliland and Denise Morin.

KERR — There will be no public viewing for Dennis R. Kerr, who died Monday, Dec. 6, 2021, and services will be private per the family’s request.

Burial will be in Greenlawn Burial Estates, Butler.
